A day in the rain

 

 

 

We went out on the trail for some exercise and the next thing we know we are in a flash flood! It started raining so hard but little miss didnt care one bit. Jerry was trying to entertain her after the experience and this is what he got...

Mt. Benel

Such a man look...

Jerry, Mia, and I decided to "hike" to the highest point in Austin. Mt. Benel is 775ft above sea level and takes about 30 seconds to walk to the top. With Mia, it took 1 minute. We looked ridiculous with a pack and water, baby stuff, etc. We had no idea! Too funny-- but, check out the view from the top! Look at those houses! They have garages in the water that allows them to just drive the boat into the garage- my dad would go nuts over this!

One month old!

Our little girl is one month today! She is so precious and we are loving having her with us. Here is the latest:

-- She weighs 10lb-110z! She is 22 inches long! 95th and 75th percentiles respectively
--Her hair seems to be growing instead of falling out- and no, I dont style it, it just sticks up like that!
--She learned to take a bottle, and does it like a champ- then decided she isn't interested- keep on trying I guess
--She sleeps for 5-6 hours consecutively at night...(wahoo!)
--She loves to be on her belly
--She loves taking a bath!
